ORiFiCE

is a gonzo noise project based in Hanover / Germany. In the majority of cases synthesizer and analog gear improvisations done by hand without any post-production.

ORiFiCE released albums in Malaysia, Japan and Germany. 

Beyond ORiFiCE is curating “ROLLATOR SERIES” at ATTENUATION CIRCUIT label:

“With the Rollator Series, attenuation circuit provides a forum for noise as an art form related to music, but not necessarily part of it. To underline this idea of a comprehensive “noise art,” the Rollator Series features artists who also create their own cover art, or work in close collaboration with the visual artists who create the covers. 

The sounds of the albums are widely spread within the area of noise, aiming to present the whole range of possibilities of “noise” as a field of creative research. Like attenuation circuit in general, the Rollator Series is aimed at bringing together artists from the immediate surroundings of the label, mainly from Germany, with noise artists from all over the world. 

Rollator Series is aimed at presenting a wide range of different visual as well as acoustic styles, from abstract paintings to digital art to collage. To showcase the artwork along with the music, the CD-Rs come in a highly limited edition of 20 copies with high-quality print covers. After the physical edition is sold out, each release remains available as a free download.”
